European Conference of Rare Diseases & Orphan Products

Ralf-Dieter Hilgers, coordinator and lead of WP 2, will present the IDeAl project at the ECRD on 8-10 of May 2014 in Berlin. He will present a poster with the key features of the project and instruct a half-day turial on “Supporting the Pathway to Trials for Rare Diseases: Clinical Trial Design and Other Considerations”. DIA ADSWG meeting

Today, Franz König, Carl-Fredrik Burman and Ralf-Dieter Hilgers will present the IDeAl project and its objectives in a telephone conference meeting with the DIA Adaptive Design Scientific Working Group (ADSWG). The slides of the meeting may be found here.

Symposium on rare diseases

On today´s rare disease day we would like to announce one major upcoming event on this topic. The Symposium on Symposium on Small Populations will take place in Vienna, Austria, on 1st and 2nd of July 2014. Save the date!

Talk on Model Selection approaches

Registration opens for joint EMA/FDA/MHLW-PMDA orphan medicinal product workshop

Registration is open for the third workshop on orphan product designation and grants jointly organised by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and, for the first time, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) and Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA).
