Young Scientist Meeting in Paris successfull

The Young Scientists of the IDeAl project met this week in the context of the IDeAl Annual Scientific Meeting. The main objective of the meeting was to improve the cooperation between the partners. This objective was met by thorough preparation of the meeting of all project partners and extensive discussions of the main points of interest. The results of this meeting influenced the discussions of the Annual Scientific Meeting.

IDeAl Annual Meeting 2014

The Second IDeAl Annual Meeting 2014 took place in Paris on 3rd-4th  November. It comprised the General Assembly as well as the Annual Scientific Meeting and the second official Young Scientist Meeting. All meetings featured profound discussions, which stimulated the cooperation between all project partners and EAB members.

Course on Cross-Over Trials in Clinical Research

Stephen Senn, head of Competence Center for Clinical Methodology at CRP Santé in Luxemburg and lead of IDEAL WP 6, will give a two-day Course on Cross-Over Trials in Clinical Research at the WTCRF in Edinburgh. The course addresses practioneers with a strong emphasis on using Cross-Over Trials for the evaluation of treatment effects rather than focussing on the mathematical properties. The couse will take place on 17th and 18th of November 2014.

William F. Rosenberger is visiting UKA

Fulbright Scholar and IDeAl External Advisory Board Member William F. Rosenberger is currently Visiting Professor at the Department of Medical Statistics at RWTH Aachen University. During his nearly 4 month stay, he is giving advice to the researchers  in WP 2, and welcomes the opportunity of exchange with other EAB members and project partners.
